We hired him to arrange for a yacht charter at the end of our medical residencies. After years of hard work we all wanted a perfect vacation of sailing, scuba diving, and good food, with exceptional service. We were willing to pay a bit extra, even though we had little money at that point in our lives.

When we got to the Caribbean it turned out that the owners of the boat he had put us on had already sold the business and we were there last charter. They told us that Mr. Hamilton knew that… they could not have had worse attitude about customer service. As far as they were concerned, they were “out of here”! On a 10 day vacation we were able to get them to put the sails up just once or twice - this, on an Ocean 66!

Just returned from our second trip to the BVI. First time at the Bitter-end resort and this time on a private crewed yacht, booked through Ed Hamilton and company. My wife was a little nervous of spending a whole week on boat, but it was the most amazing experience for the whole family. Steve and Lynne at Ed Hamilton, took care of all the details, addressed our concerns and matched our requirements with the crew perfectly. The whole trip could not have been better, to quote the kids: “Best vacation ever”

From the other reviewer, "Mr. Hamilton" taught Mr Steve Cree well. There is no need for these extremely unprofessional thieves. You are way, way better off dealing direct with a company that will work with you if something needs working with. My first clue was when he said, "I'm working for you!" Complete Bull! He's working for himself and he took complete financial advantage of our family crisis. Yep. We cancelled our charter just days after booking and he kept our deposit even though the charter boat rebooked our time. Disgusting. Just book direct with The Moorings or ANY other company that understands repeat, happy customers are more valuable than a quick thieving buck. No comparison. We learned our lesson, hopefully you won't have to.

When the nightmare was over, we contacted Mr. Hamilton about some sort of refund or restitution - at a minimum at least an apology. He essentially told us to take a hike!

If you place any value on your time, money, or leisure, avoid this guy like to plague!

We attempted to go scuba diving more than once but their attitude about safety was really off putting. They’re “dive master” didn't seem to care anything about the buddy system or even basic safety. And it turned out that they had had a scuba diving fatality just recently!

What attracted us to Mr. Hamilton as a broker was that he “guaranteed” our satisfaction - boy did that turn out to be a joke…

We can't believe this guy is still in business….
